We offer associate degrees which prepare students for transfer programs in Music Education, Music Business, Music Therapy, Music Theory/Composition and Music Performance. We also offer a one year certificate: Music Industry Certificate Program (MICP.) Our graduates do very well in transfer and have found gainful employment in music.
We are writing to inivite you to audition for a Music Achievement Award at BHC.
As mentioned earler, you do not have to major in music to qualify for a Music Achievement Award.
We are holding auditions on Tuesday, July 24 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for graduating and upcoming high school seniors.
To reserve an audition time, please email our area head, Mr. Jon Palomaki, at palomakij@bhc.edu to request a Music Achievement Award Application form.
You should prepare 6-8 minutes of music of your choice. We prefer to hear a number of contrasting styles that demonstrate your technical and musical skills. We may also ask you to sight read and play scales as well.
Please contact me or Mr. Palomaki if you have any questions or you need to schedule your audition on another date.
Once again, we would be honored to have you join us.
Cordially,
C. Edgar Crockett, Ph.D.
